Instameet With Gap

This week, I hung out with Gap for their first ever Canadian Instameet. For those unfamiliar with the concept, it's an event where a group of Instagrammers get together and take cool pictures. As you can see, I had a little help from Taylor!

This is a good example of how motherhood has changed me. Before, I would hit the streets (solo!) and take some killer photos. Preferably in heels and a nice dress. As you can see, that was not the case. Since T (my husband) wasn't home, I strapped on Taylor and off we went. This was my first time taking him out in his carrier for an extended period of time by myself. Thank goodness he went easy on me!

I obviously ditched the dress and heels and went super comfortable. I knew we'd be walking for a couple of hours so I wedged my feet into my favorite Vans Classic Slip Ons.

I've owned several pairs of these shoe over the last 12 years and they're actually the only footwear that I've repurchased the exact same pair over again. Taylor even has a pair for when he hits 6-12 months!

As you can see, we went to Graffiti Alley and went a little cray. I know I look insane carting my baby around an alley but it's only a few blocks away from home and super safe and clean.

Stuffing all of Taylor's essentials into a smaller more manageable handbag was key. I usually use a fairly large Michael Kors bag but it weighs a ton and stays in the bottom of the stroller.

It was so nice hanging out with everyone and I would definitely recommend checking it out if given the opportunity.

What do you think of the idea of an Instameet?
